Q Parker is no stranger to success. As a Grammy Award-winning artist and cultural ambassador with over 13 billion Spotify streams and 2 billion Pandora streams, he has made an indelible mark on the music industry. Known for his soulful vocals and timeless songwriting, Parker has lent his talents to hits for industry icons like Keyshia Cole, Pink, and Faith Evans. But it’s his recent triumph as a solo artist that has reintroduced him to a new generation of R&B lovers.

A Solo Milestone: “BEG” Hits #6 on Billboard
Q’s latest single, “BEG,” soared to #6 on the Billboard R&B Charts, marking the highest-charting solo release of his career.
“The success of ‘BEG’ means the world to me,” Parker shares. “Some people try to minimize chart positions, but I grew up in an era where they meant something. This moment proves that I can stand on my own, and it’s fueling what’s next.”
Indeed, what’s next is already on the horizon. His upcoming single “Keep On Lovin’” promises to dive deeper into the emotional and spiritual intimacy that defines lasting love.
“Love isn’t just about the good times,” he says. “It’s about choosing to love someone every day, through everything.”
Another track, “Put It On,” celebrates women’s natural radiance—a theme that continues Parker’s legacy of uplifting and affirming Black love.
From 112 to 100% Q Parker
As one-fourth of the legendary group 112, Parker’s voice became a cornerstone of 90s R&B. But his evolution into a solo artist has been just as impactful.
“When I show up as Q Parker, I still carry 112 with me,” he reflects. “But now I’m fully in control of my artistry and vision.”
His ongoing “Q Versions” series—soulful covers of songs he admires—further showcases his deep respect for the craft and his ability to reinterpret familiar hits with a fresh, emotive edge.
Legacy Beyond the Music
Parker’s influence goes far beyond the mic. Through his Q Parker Legacy Foundation, founded in 2016, and Brothers United, he has become a powerful force for community empowerment. The foundation focuses on enriching the lives of seniors and children, while Brothers United offers brotherhood, support, and mentorship for men seeking personal and professional growth.
“My parents taught me that your blessings are tied to your generosity,” he says. “Atlanta raised me, and I knew I had to give back.”
Mentorship remains at the core of Parker’s mission. His advice to aspiring artists? Own your uniqueness and know your business.
“You are more than enough,” he emphasizes. “Learn the business. Understand the contracts. That’s how you build a sustainable career.”
More Than Music: Wellness, Retreats, and Family
Beyond the studio and stage, Parker is a wellness advocate, having released a fitness calendar and spearheaded initiatives like the “Q Parker and Friends” live experience and the heartwarming holiday event, “Caroling with Q Parker and Friends.”
This summer, he’s celebrating the 10th year of his youth entertainment camp, a two-week intensive program for aspiring artists that focuses on artistry, business, and professionalism.
He’s also launching the Mwasi Global Community Healing Retreat in Marrakesh, Morocco—a month-long experience where new artists can heal, create, and explore cultural connections.
Amid all of this, Parker remains deeply rooted in family.
“I’m a grandfather now,” he beams. “My grandkids keep me grounded. They’re my biggest blessing.”
