ATLANTA, GA –South African award-winning singer-songwriter and author AdELA has released an animated children’s themed album, “Chase The Happy.” This vibrant new compilation features a mixture of jazz, pop, rap, and rock songs, bringing to life the beloved canine characters from her acclaimed children’s book series, Hunny & Koko.
Inspired by AdELA’s real-life pups, “Chase The Happy” was crafted by an award-winning collective of producers, songwriters, and vocalists. The team includes TV star Mehgan James, music sync sensation and Hunny & Koko creator AdELA, Grammy-nominated Clemm Rishad, Ink Star Dre Gilly, Billboard-charting songwriter Alonda Rich, and producer/composer Ms Madli, among others. Each track captures the infectious upbeat energy of Hunny and Koko, creating a riveting musical adventure for all ages.
On a mission to raise awareness around Social-Emotional Learning (SEL), AdELA has partnered with various educational entities including the Save The Music Foundation to provide SEL lessons for K-2nd graders. SEL is the process of developing skills to understand and manage emotions, build relationships, and make responsible decisions. By integrating SEL as the foundation of her debut album, AdELA masterfully combines education with entertainment, making learning both fun and impactful.
