Atlanta-based Your Social Team is launching THE REELIES AWARDS, the first-ever Instagram Reels Awards Show celebrating entrepreneurs and small business owners. Founded by former Cartoon Network creative Manu Muraro, The Reelies Red Carpet and Awards Ceremony will be at historic The Plaza Theater in Atlanta on September 15.
Over 300 attendees from across the U.S. and Canada will be there, many meeting in person for the first time after years of virtual connections and collaborations.
The Reelies Awards celebrates small business owners and solopreneurs, especially women, who often juggle multiple roles to keep their businesses running, from marketing to social media. This event provides long-overdue recognition to those who typically work alone and need access to traditional award shows or networking opportunities.
The Oscars®-style celebration will focus on community, connection, and empowerment, designed to make participation affordable and accessible.

The awards show will award winners in 30 categories, including Best Educational Reel, Funniest Reel, Most Heartwarming Reel, Best Use of a Trending Sound, Best Pet Reel, and more. A full list of finalists is here.
Winners are selected by popular vote from finalists chosen by a panel of expert jurors, comprised of some of the biggest names in social media education, including Elise Darma and Jera Foster-Fell.
