DJ Shai Hosted a Complimentary Day of Workouts, Activations, Beats, and Bites for 200 Deserving Women To Bring Healthy Habits and Awareness To The Community<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

LOS ANGELES- OCT. 16, 2023\u2014 <\/strong>Celebrity wellness authority, DJ Shai<\/a>, curated an event on October 14, 2023 welcoming  200 women of all shapes and sizes at the Equinox Sports Club in Century City to gain awareness for Breast Cancer and Healthy Lung Month.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

GIRLS GONE ACTIVE\u2019s mission is to inspire, empower, and celebrate women by fostering a community of strength, resilience, and well-being. \u201cThrough invigorating fitness, entrepreneurial support, and holistic wellness, we aim to uplift every woman on her unique journey towards health, success, and self-discovery,\u201d says DJ Shai. \u201c Our vision is to create an inclusive space where women from all walks of life come together to celebrate their strength, health, and individuality. October holds special significance for women’s health, as it marks both Breast Cancer Awareness Month and Healthy Lung Month. It’s a time when we emphasize the importance of early detection, self-care, and overall well-being.\u00a0 This event is not only a celebration of women’s strength but also a platform for raising awareness about these critical health issues.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Creator of \u201cThe Werk ” Mychele Sims, led the crowd in an upbeat warmup to get the ladies motivated. To celebrate the day, complimentary workouts were held by top-rated Equinox instructors DJ Shai (Indoor Cycling), Elle Young (Best Butt Ever), Frances Flores (Power Yoga), Sydney Belina (Barre), and Jenia (Precision Run).\u00a0 A calming sound bath was led by Adrienne Bawa, R.N. An afterparty that literally raised the roof with the hottest tunes by DJ Kennedy, specialty cocktails curated by Shinju Whiskey and Casamigos Tequila, delicious morsels via Tocaya, Lemonade, and A Little Extra Charcuterie. Generous gift bags were given to everyone who came out which included swag from Hone Mushroom Matcha, Camino Gummies, ILIA Makeup, Yuni Beauty, Pure Patch Wearable Nutrition, STANCE, MELA Water, Health-Ade Kombucha, Black Girl Sunscreen, Hart House, and blk. Water. Drip Hydration provided B12 shots to keep participants’ immunity and vitality going post-workout. \u00a0Altyr Wellness<\/a> gave custom Tarot Card Readings and Ear Seeding.
