Higher Purpose Co. returns with 8th Annual Money Purpose Success (MPS) Women\u2019s Entrepreneurship Summit <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

VICKSBURG, MS <\/strong>\u4e00 (August 1, 2023) Higher Purpose Co. will host its 8th annual Money Purpose Success Women\u2019s Entrepreneurship Summit on Saturday, August 19, at the Vicksburg Convention Center in Vicksburg, Mississippi. The conference aims to unite Black women business owners from various industries across the Mid-South and equip them with the essential tools that elevate their businesses. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe MPS summit is more than just a conference. It’s a chance for Black women to come together, learn from each other, and build a better future for themselves and their communities,\u201d said Dr. Tim Lampkin. \u201cBlack women deserve a safe space to be vulnerable about their challenges and bold about their wins, and we\u2019re glad to be able to bring this experience back for another year.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hosted by Radio and TV personality and Cast Member of OWN’s Belle Collective, Tambra Cherie, this year\u2019s speakers include: <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u25cf Dr. Joy Harden Bradford, Founder of <\/em>Therapy for Black Girls<\/em>;<\/em> <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u25cf Dr. Amber Wright, Relationship communication expert and Founder of Words Well Said; <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u25cf <\/em>And Wellness Expert, <\/em>Brittney “Yoga Bae” Floyd-Mayo, The Trap yoga bae \u00ae.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe built the MPS summit to give Black women the tools they need to elevate their businesses,\u201d said Dr. Tim Lampkin, Founder, and CEO of Higher Purpose Co. \u201cAttendees not only get the chance to network with like-minded business leaders, but they also have the opportunity to win one of seven $500 grants and invest in their personal brand with free professional headshots by Trent Calvin Photography. In addition to powerful speakers and a book signing with Dr. Joy Harden Bradford, those in attendance will have access to vendor row where they can network with and support black women-owned businesses. Founded in 2016, Higher Purpose Co., is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with a mission to build community wealth with Black residents in Mississippi by supporting the ownership of financial, cultural, and political power. Higher Purpose Co’s theory of change is anchored by an integrated model: asset building, narrative change, and advocacy. The organization offers business-focused educational and advisory services, as well as monthly meetings with guest speakers, resource emails, learning programs, and funding to Black-owned businesses throughout the state that are members of the organization.
