JRDN,\u00a0<\/strong>born and\u00a0raised in\u00a0Nova Scotia,\u00a0earned his place at the table of Canadian\u00a0R&B\u00a0with his debut album, \u201cIAMJRDN.\u201d\u00a0\u00a0The album earned him\u00a0two\u00a0Gold-certified<\/strong>\u00a0hits,\u201d U Can Have It All\u201d\u00a0and\u00a0“Like Magic,\u201d the latter earning him a\u00a0SOCAN\u00a0Urban Music Award, reaching #1 on the Much Music video charts.\u00a0\u00a0JRDN<\/strong>\u00a0also received\u00a0Juno\u2019s\u00a0New Artist of the Year and R&B\/Soul Recording of the Year awards.\u00a0\u00a0He went on to release\u00a0another hit single, \u201cRumors.\u201d\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After hitting the ground running, constantly in the studio and on tour,\u00a0JRDN\u00a0<\/strong>decided to take a step back. He wanted to be in complete control of both his personal life and his music and to give respect to both.\u00a0\u00a0After downtime & much truth-searching, peace has come to\u00a0JRDN.\u00a0\u00a0Heis back and has put his heart & soul into\u00a0\u201cCall My Name.\u201d\u00a0\u00a0Together with 4X Platinum producer Eastbound, the collaboration produced a modern take on traditional R&B.\u00a0\u00a0JRDN\u00a0also worked with Joel Stouffer of Dragonette, and Jenson Vaughn to complete the new sound.\u00a0\u00a0\u201cCall My Name\u201d\u00a0drops\u00a0May 9th\u00a0followed by an upcoming tour with fellow Canadian artist\u00a0Classified.\u00a0\u00a0JRDN\u00a0will take the stage with new unreleased music along with his gold-certified hits.
