\u201cThere isn\u2019t a kid in the world that doesn\u2019t have a desire to become a doctor and make a difference in the world and for me, that\u2019s where my story began. When you see a loved one not receiving the care that you know they should receive, it gives you extra motivation to become that person, to become that advocate and that person who you wish to see. I attended Duke University School of Medicine and became a Clinician. I wanted to become an advocate, even though I became a practitioner I advocated for my patients and my colleagues who sometimes felt like they didn\u2019t have a voice. God appointed me in this position of advocacy and inspiration amongst being a clinician. So, this evolved into an entrepreneurial passion to empower other medical professionals because a lot of the time we have a voice, but we don\u2019t necessarily know how to use it. So, I became a clinician to hopefully make an impact\u201d. – Dr. Brooke M. Womack-Elmore.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  When the clock struck 12 midnight on January 1, 2020, everyone was celebrating a new year and a new beginning. No one could have ever imagined that in just less than 3 months we would experience something traumatic, and life-changing as; COVID-19. This virus took over the entire world and left everyone at a standstill except the medical community and essential workers. While the world has since begun to get back to some sort of normalcy, the harsh reality is that medical professionals never stopped. They worked around the clock day in and day out, to heal the sick but were they overlooked while everyone was on lockdown? <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The answer to that question is yes! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Not only were they overlooked, but they were also simply burned out. How do you help with burnout? Dr. Brooke M. Womack-Elmore has the answer and has created what she considers to be the solution.  She has been a saving grace for medical professionals during the pandemic by creating an outlet to give the front-line workers an avenue of release. The Duke University Medical school graduate has created The Blueprint which is a six-figure digital practice as a source to help the medical community. She has taken her time to become an advocate for the medical industry to ensure that there is a ready-made solution for a growing problem. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

JB: How would you describe Burnout? <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

TG:<\/strong> \u201cThe Burnout is real, it\u2019s very real in fact and too often ignored. Yes, we are celebrated at times, but this is an everyday situation. Many doctors are afraid to admit to having burnout or to seek help for it because doctors are looked at as superhuman and are not ever supposed to get sick or have any mental wellness issues. The stigma is horrible because everyone experiences moments of mental exhaustion and that doesn\u2019t mean that you are mentally ill or that it\u2019s at a server state that you would cause harm to yourself or others. Especially during the pandemic, so many medical professionals lost their lives due to burnout and it\u2019s proven with statistics.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

JB: What is the blueprint and how did you create it? <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

TG:<\/strong> I came up with and created in the process what was the six-figure digital practice. It\u2019s essentially the blueprint for health and medical professionals to take their existing knowledge that they have already acquired and repackage it and rebrand it. Also, be able to leverage in a way that they can provide it and make an impact in people\u2019s lives on a larger scale. The blueprint was something that I put together because I felt stifled working in the clinic, I didn\u2019t feel that I was making the impact that I knew I could. I was lacking resources and the economy was shifting into a digital space. I knew I had more to give, and the blueprint is a 95% hands-off digital model, and takes your knowledge and digitalizes it in order for you to make a passive income stream to free up time and energy to hopefully accumulate some money. It has been able to help me and other colleagues who have implemented the blueprint.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

JB: How can non-essential workers approach medical professionals during this time because the pandemic is still happening? <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

TG: <\/strong>Ask how they are doing. People underestimate the importance of small things and how impactful they can be. While we know that you are concerned about your health when you visit the doctor or your mental capacity when you visit a counselor, however in this moment and in this season, asking how we are doing means more than anything because you could be our saving grace that day. You could become our advocate and someone to vent to, to save us on that day. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
