New York, NY \u2013 Monalisa Johnson, CEO of Sierra Productions, host of\u00a0Prisoner of Hope,\u00a0<\/em>and a participant on A&E’s hit docu-series\u00a060 Days In,\u00a0<\/em>today announced\u00a0the\u00a0launch of\u00a0The\u00a0Vault, a membership community created to meet\u00a0the\u00a0needs of\u00a0the\u00a0incarcerated and their families.\u00a0 A comprehensive streaming platform,\u00a0The\u00a0Vault\u00a0offers content, resources, and tools strategically designed to prepare those who have been incarcerated and provide support for prisoners and their loved ones during and after incarceration.\u00a0The\u00a0new platform brings an expansive selection of experts, including therapists, finance experts, criminal defense attorneys, social activists, and spiritual leaders, to help tackle\u00a0the\u00a0most critical issues families face when dealing with incarceration. Experts cover self-discovery, finance, mental and spiritual mindset, legal guidance, mental wellness, relationships, and post-incarceration life skills to help those affected.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“When my daughter was sentenced to 10 years in prison, I struggled to find resources to help us deal with our situation,” said Johnson, “I knew that I wanted to help others find the help that I was looking for and that the show, Prisoner of Hope<\/em>, was only the first step. The Vault<\/em> brings experts from different industries to one platform to help people in the privacy of their own homes.” <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Johnson created The Vault<\/em> with the realization that society places a stigma on those who have been incarcerated and then places blame and shame upon the families.  By using The Vault<\/em>, members will be able to connect with others impacted by incarceration to share experiences, find support, and build a community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With the platform, Ms. Johnson hopes to build awareness and overhaul the criminal justice system, policing practices, racial disparities in sentencing and policies, in an effort to fulfill the United States constitution\u2019s promise of equality and justice for all. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
