Covid-19 has reached St. Josephine and the town is now in quarantine. Episode 3 began with Ralph Angel gazing at his Sugarcane while making layoff calls to his employees. It\u2019s now present that this virus has put a hold on the farming business for himself and many other farmers in the community. Nova, on the other hand is living in spiritual ecstasy with a supportive partner by her side. Being an active pillar in her community, Nova constructed care packages for those who were unable to leave their houses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Nova, concerned about Prosper releases a special prayer for him and those who have been confined to their houses with no human contact, but listening to the radio and looking to the news for updates. This gave us closer too at those who were alone and how they felt throughout the pandemic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Charlie was excited about having he son home but Micah didn\u2019t seem so enthused. Micah is used to being on his own now so his mannerisms are a little different than Charlie remembers. Now that Micah is single, he\u2019s playing in a field Charlie isn\u2019t used to seeing. We can tell its making her a little uncomfortable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Aunt Vi and Hollywood are also playing their part to help the community. Although the store is closed due to the shut down, they\u2019ve been taking orders and delivering them to customers around the neighborhood. Hollywood has become worried about his mother. Her cough has gotten worst and now she isn\u2019t answering his phone calls. He sent a nearby neighbor of her to go check on her and he\u2019s thinking about taking a trip to see her.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Darla finally got the job she was hoping for only to have them lay off their employees due to the pandemic. Ralph Angel decided to sell one of his tractors to help take care of the bills but it wasn\u2019t enough, he decided to get a job. In this episode Ralph Angel stepped up and put his pride to the side and became a janitor to support his family, walking in the likes of his hard working father Ralph Angel quoted \u201cYou can\u2019t control things, you can only control how you feel about them<\/em>\u201d. Ralph Angel is now showing us his strength and the lengths he\u2019d go through to protect his family.<\/p>\n\n\n\n This episode showed empathy and courage and how to take care of our family and communities as well.
