At the intersection of rest, intention, and elevated living sits BrownStyle Magazine<\/a><\/strong>, the first featured publication in FEMI Magazine\u2019s new series, The Magazines That Move Us.<\/strong> Founded by sisters Tweety<\/strong>, Editor in Chief, and Emerald Elitou<\/strong>, Chief Creative Director, BrownStyle Magazine launched on September 19, 2023, with a clear and refreshing mission. The platform exists to center Women of Color who want to define their own version of a soulful, soft life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

BrownStyle Magazine is a digital and print lifestyle and luxury publication that offers more than aspiration. It provides affirmation. Through celebrity interviews, personal essays, expert advice, how-tos, and curated shopping lists, the magazine creates a space where motivation meets mindfulness. Its content speaks directly to women who are ready to slow down without shrinking, and to indulge in beauty, wellness, and joy without guilt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What makes BrownStyle Magazine distinctive is its intentional rejection of hustle-only narratives that dominate much of lifestyle media. After years of working across media, fashion, and beauty, Tweety and Emerald recognized a void. Women were being celebrated for endurance, productivity, and sacrifice, but rarely encouraged to pause, replenish, or prioritize themselves. The sisters asked an important question. Where was the space for softness, sisterhood, self-care, and soul?<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
