Born in Charlotte, North Carolina, Wegodsky earned her BFA from the Maryland Institute College of Art and her MFA from the Tyler School of Art. Her work has been featured in solo exhibitions at institutions such as the LaGrange Art Museum, Oglethorpe University Museum of Art, and the Greenville County Museum of Art, and is included in numerous public collections, including that of the Morris Museum of Art. She has received national recognition through awards from the Art Renewal Center, Artists Magazine, and Oil Painters of America, and was a winner of the New American Paintings Open Studios Competition.
