Girl, did y\u2019all see the news about social media personality Brenay Kennard? <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sis has been ordered to pay one million seven hundred fifty thousand dollars in damages for intentionally breaking up that man\u2019s marriage to his ex-wife. One point seven five million. Not thousand. Million. My God today!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Brenay Kennard<\/a><\/strong> found herself in hot water after being sued by Akira Montague<\/a>, who accused her of having an affair with her then-husband, Timothy Montague. According to the lawsuit, filed in May 2024, Akira alleged that Brenay openly flaunted her relationship with Timothy on social media<\/a> while he was still legally married.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Akira\u2019s case included claims of alienation of affection and criminal conversation, two legal actions that allow a spouse to sue a third party for interfering in a marriage. These laws no longer exist in most of the United States, but North Carolina is one of the few states where they are still recognized.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Let me tell you something. Baby, this right here is your friendly reminder to leave these married people alone!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I know some folks love to say the marriage was already over or he told you they were separated or she swear he was unhappy and basically single. But listen, courts do not care about pillow talk. Rings matter. Marriage licenses matter. And clearly, the law matters too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Imagine thinking you found your little fairytale only to end up with a court date and a bill bigger than your student loans. And for what? A man who could not even stay loyal in his marriage? Now you owe almost two million because somebody else\u2019s husband sold you a dream.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ladies, be serious. If a person is still legally married, that is not your blessing. That is somebody\u2019s legal obligation. That is somebody\u2019s covenant. That is somebody\u2019s not-yet-finished situation. And you cannot win playing with somebody else\u2019s foundation. You will trip every time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And let us be real. If they will cheat with you, they will cheat on you. You are not the exception, you are the evidence. So why sign up to be a side character in somebody else\u2019s drama when you could be the leading woman in your own?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This whole situation should be a lesson. There are too many single people in the world to be borrowing somebody else\u2019s spouse and then acting shocked when the consequences hit. Protect your peace. Protect your pockets. Protect your future. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

If they say they are \u201cabout to leave,\u201d tell them to call you after the divorce is finalized and you see proof filed at the courthouse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Until then, do not entertain it. Do not romanticize it. And do not let desperation, boredom, or a smooth talking married man trick you out of your dignity or your bank account.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sis, leave these married folks alone. God, karma, and courts are all watching.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
