Toronto, ON <\/strong>–<\/strong> Canadian Hip Hop artist Jair Dynast<\/strong> released his new single \u201cAT RISK<\/strong>\u201d this week.  \u201cAT RISK\u201d<\/strong> is pulled from the headlines & tackles the failings of societies choices as well as those of the artist.  The multi-talented artist is known for making statements with his music.  Dynast<\/strong> has earned an Album of the Year nod from RapReviews.com<\/a> and his single \u201cCan\u2019t Wait\u201d became the theme song for a 13-part Miniseries \u201cMake Some Noise\u201d on CBC.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

After the successful release of Dynast\u2019s<\/strong> last single, \u201cProfiling\u201d following the death of George Floyd, the artist, songwriter & producer decided to take \u201cAT RISK\u201d<\/strong> deeper and make it raw & personal.  \u201cAT RISK\u201d <\/strong>speaks to the life & death of a young black man who has passed on & the agonizing apology to his mother for not returning home.  \u201cAT RISK\u201d<\/strong> speaks to the mistakes and responsibilities of society\u2026. and his own.   <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dynast <\/strong>is aware his platform comes with responsibility and uses it wisely.  Too often the headlines are louder than the accomplishments of his community.  Dynast<\/strong> believes in the importance of promoting and praising that community & the contributions Black people have made to society.  The popular artist speaks to high school students during Black History Month about celebrating those accomplishments & their responsibility to them.   <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
