\u201cHip Hop is like therapy; it lets me get out my frustrations and it has saved my life.\u201d<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Ade talks with Tori from BET Press about what hip hop means to him and how growing up as a black kid he had a lot going on, so having a special talent and gift has saved his life and to share it with others who can connect to it is dope.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Madflavor TV with Malik Pollard: When did you fall in love with hip hop<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n

I got into hip hop right after 2pac died, that jiggy bad boy era that is why I got into hip hop and fell in love with it as a kid. Coming from a GOGO domination, it wasn\u2019t until I saw Wale do it, and he was full hip hop rapping and I felt like I can do it here too and people would accept it because I saw the love he was getting here and out of town and it was a domino effect. He opened the door for people that wants to do hip hop here and make it out of town.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Whereisthebuzz TV: What has kept you motivated and going for all of these years?<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n

When you are trying to get to your goals, sometimes it gets to the point where you start to feel down because you not reaching them; but I feel like God has put opportunities in my life that means to keep going. Even being a part of the BET Award cypher lets me now that I am in the right place. There was a point in my career that everything was stagnant, when one day Wale called and said to come help me with my stuff. Every time I start doubting myself things work out, there is always a big window of opportunity that opens for me. I am with Epic records, I have a song that\u2019s on the NFL commercial, I\u2019m about to be on National Tv, I know where I am supposed to be and I am here and enjoying it.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Urban News with Tatiana: You have done some major collaborations, working with Wale, gold link, lil baby who is next on the coloration list for you?<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n

It\u2019s some people that I have dreamed and have been around that are on my songs, but I can\u2019t say, but they are legends and will be legends. Within the next couple of months to the top of the year expect those releases.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the Beat with Angie B: What were you thinking about when writing Toast because it is literally a song of celebration<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n

I was writing the song on the way to the studio, I was thinking about feeling grateful and I was writing my feelings out on paper and just giving something catchy. So, everything I said in the song, I was literally feelings.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Toast was definitely a hit and fans are wanting more from this Jamaican artist. Hip hop takes on so many cultures and dancehall has found a home in this hip-hop world. The original Koffee talks with Tori from BET Press about what the world still needs to know about dancehall music and the major insight that people get to see when listening to dancehall music. Koffee mentions that dancehall is \u201cCulturally inspired and people get to see the real Jamaican culture and what is happening on the streets.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tori BET Press: How do you embody the hip-hop culture in everything you do from music to lifestyle?<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n

Since I started listening to music outside of dancehall and reggae, hip hop has always been a part of the lineup. I believe that I am inspired by hip-hop and therefore I deliver with a hip-hop flow along with a dancehall flow. I inspire the youth in my country who does music as well and emulate my flows.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Allhiphop with Seleah Bussey: Anything in the future that we should look out for?<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n

I have an album coming out with videos to each one, I\u2019m not going to say how many tracks on there or the features.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
