Raised in a Christian home where honesty wasn\u2019t just a rule but a reflection of godliness, Ren\u00e9e learned early the value of truth. \u201cEven as a child, I couldn\u2019t let a lie stand without confessing the truth,\u201d she says. But her true transformation came much later\u2014after law school, in the thick of the financial crisis. She found herself homeless with her daughter, struggling not just financially, but spiritually and emotionally. In that moment of crisis, she created the acronym GIRLFRIENDS, a declaration that her character, not her circumstances, would define her. That turning point lit a fire in her that still burns today. She now uses her voice to remind others that character is not a luxury\u2014it is the foundation of a meaningful life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ren\u00e9e\u2019s B.E.A.S.T. Mindset is a transformational blueprint rooted in five powerful principles: Brave, Enthusiastic, Authentic, Self-Controlled, and Thankful. It\u2019s a call to stop performing and start becoming. Whether you\u2019re a student, a CEO, or a single mom, B.E.A.S.T. teaches you to rise with integrity, resilience, and purpose\u2014even when life tries to break you. She\u2019s since expanded the framework with M.A.C.\u2014Mission, Accountability, and Consistency\u2014because, as she says, \u201ccharacter needs structure.\u201d This philosophy is now the cornerstone of her coaching, consulting, and comedy work.<\/p>\n\n\n

Her work as a character development coach cuts beneath the surface. \u201cLeadership begins with self-governance,\u201d she explains. Her coaching methodology uses tools like the Character Manifesto, the B.E.A.S.T. Mindset, and the B.E.A.S.T. Oath\u2014a personal commitment to living by character, not convenience. Through 30-day intensives, group coaching, and one-on-one mentoring, she helps people move from performance to purpose. Her clients\u2014executives, creatives, and everyday folks alike\u2014learn to reclaim clarity, emotional intelligence, and confidence. \u201cWhen people finally realize character is their power, they break free\u2014and they never go back,\u201d she says.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What sets Ren\u00e9e apart is her ability to challenge people without overwhelming them. \u201cI speak truth, but I wrap it in heart and humor,\u201d she says. \u201cPeople don\u2019t change when they\u2019re shamed; they change when they\u2019re seen.\u201d She delivers hard truths in ways that inspire instead of condemn. In one of her shows, she quips, \u201cPeople pleasing is expensive and never on sale,\u201d then follows it with a deep lesson on identity and emotional maturity. Humor softens the ego, heart opens the spirit, and truth renews the mind. \u201cThat\u2019s the balance I bring: real talk, big laughs, deep transformation. I bring the heat, but never burn people up.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Leaving behind a high-ranking corporate position with little money but a clear sense of purpose, she rebuilt her life on her terms. Now, at 50, she\u2019s a fully self-employed author, speaker, strategist, comedian, and coach. \u201cThe B.E.A.S.T. Mindset helped me break free from fear, shame, and corporate gaslighting to build a life rooted in character and calling,\u201d she says. \u201cI didn\u2019t just escape survival mode.
