[ATLANTA, GA] – September 19, 2024 \u2013 The National Black Arts Festival is thrilled to announce its highly anticipated annual fundraiser, \u201cNBAF Celebration Under the Stars\u201d concert, taking place at the renowned Wolf Creek Amphitheater on Saturday, October 19, 2024 from 5pm – 9pm. This unforgettable evening will feature spectacular performances from Poetry on Peter Collective, The Drew Carter Dance Ensemble, the \u201cSouthern Hummingbird\u201d Tweet<\/strong>, Keke Wyatt<\/strong>, and 9x Grammy-nominated artist, Marsha Ambrosius<\/strong>.  There will also be special guest appearances from WEtv\u2019s The Braxtons Trina Braxton<\/strong>, actress\/director\/producer Terri J. Vaughn<\/strong>, actor Karon Joseph Riley<\/strong>, and rapper\/comedian\/host of Dish Nation, HeadKrack<\/strong>. This star-studded event will truly be unforgettable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Under the enchanting night sky, concertgoers will experience a soulful musical journey that celebrates the rich heritage and extraordinary talents of Black artists. Each performer brings a unique flavor, ensuring a diverse and vibrant showcase of R&B and soul music. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

“We are excited to bring together such remarkable talent for this year\u2019s Celebration Under the Stars,” said Stephanie Owens, Executive Director of the National Black Arts Festival. “This concert not only entertains but also fosters a deeper appreciation for the rich artistic traditions and contributions of Black artists throughout history.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Doors will open to the public at 5pm. Pit Seating attendees will enjoy a private VIP reception from 5pm-6pm.  Attendees should get there early to enjoy the festival-like experience featuring a fine art print sale, artisan vendor market, food trucks and concessions along with photo booths and more! The show will start promptly at 6:30pm. The requested dress code is \u201cupscale chic in shades of blue\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
