Her career took off when she was discovered by the prestigious Grace Del Marco agency, where she worked under the mentorship of Ophelia DeVore. This agency, known for launching the careers of icons like Cicely Tyson, Richard Roundtree, and Diahann Carroll, provided Dr. McNair with a strong foundation in the world of fashion. However, she soon transitioned from the runway to the boardroom, channeling her creativity and business acumen into building a successful event planning business. Her dedication and drive have made her a role model for aspiring entrepreneurs, showcasing what is possible when passion meets purpose.<\/p>\n\n\n

In 2015, Dr. McNair founded the Business Women Empowerment Project (BWEP), a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to uplifting and empowering women. Through BWEP, she helps women discover their paths to success and self-sufficiency, providing them with the tools and resources needed to thrive in business and life. Her commitment to empowering the next generation of female leaders is evident in her work as the former Executive Producer and host of the Women on the MOVE Live!<\/em> series. Over four seasons, Dr. McNair inspired and mentored countless women, helping them break barriers and reach new heights.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Expanding her mission even further, Dr. McNair launched the BWEP Leadership Academy in 2020. This program focuses on mentoring high school girls, equipping them with leadership development, entrepreneurship skills, financial literacy, and technological expertise. By investing in the future of these young women, Dr. McNair is laying the groundwork for the next wave of successful female entrepreneurs who will drive economic growth and innovation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dr. McNair\u2019s impact extends beyond her nonprofit work. As the founder of Kim McNair Productions, LLC, which holds certifications from WBENC and SLBE, she continues to break new ground in the business world. Her dedication to excellence is reflected in her educational achievements, including a certificate in non-profit organizational management from the Georgia Center for Non-Profits, an Honorary Doctorate of Christian Humanities and Leadership, and certificates from Harvard Business School and Cornell University in women\u2019s entrepreneurship and leadership.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One of Dr. McNair\u2019s most notable contributions is the Women on the MOVE Summit\u2122,<\/em> an event she created to celebrate and empower women in business.
