[NEW YORK, NY] May 1, 2024 \u2014 Last week, a special fundraiser benefiting the Breast Cancer Research Foundation honored CNN anchor Sara Sidner<\/strong> for her dedication to raising awareness about breast cancer and supporting women battling the disease while sharing her own story. The event featured a panel discussion with some incredible women in the fight against breast cancer, including 2018 Miss Brazil USA Isabela Ad\u00e5o<\/strong>, oncologist researcher and writer Dr. Elizabeth Comen<\/strong>, and BCRF Director of Communications Sadia Zapp<\/strong>. Other special guest attendees included co-CNN anchor Athena Jones<\/strong>, and social media influencers Kiran Prasher<\/strong>, and Nicole Arginis.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The panel discussion touched on a variety of topics related to breast cancer research and advocacy, including the latest advancements in treatment options, the importance of early detection, and the impact of the disease on women around the world. Each panelist shared their own personal stories and insights, highlighting the need for continued support and funding for breast cancer research.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Attendees enjoyed wine and appetizers with lots of networking amongst a room of mostly women. The event was sponsored by Zeferino shoes and received a personal warm greeting from the company\u2019s founder Nana Baffour. The evening was a huge success, raising both awareness and crucial funds for this important cause.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
