Each year’s Super Bowl features the world brightest starts on a national stage that creates some of the best pop culture moments, and leaves many people talking about it, and wanting to relive the moment again and again.
This year was very complex due to the endless coronavirus pandemic. However, producers and creators have managed to create a memorable and spectacular musical moment. That was more than apparent when H.E.R was chosen to perform “America the Beautiful.” She is a Grammy nominated and amazing all around performer. At the conclusion of her performance, it was apparent she was the right choice.

This year’s Super Bowl brought together skilled Black musicians and performers, including Amanda Gordon, the inspiring poet who performed at Joe Biden’s inauguration. She was also the first poet to ever perform at the Super Bowl; giving an amazing piece acknowledging essential workers during our current pandemic.
